Whether it’s in the buzzing Tenerife or the exciting Fuerteventura, you can look forward to enjoying some memorable nights in the Canaries. So what to do?

Clubbing - Each and every one of the Canary Islands rival Ibiza and so head to the main cities should you want a fun night, partying til dawn! The great beaches mean you can get in at 6am (early in Spain!), sleep until lunch and be up and ready for some sunning on the beach - ready with your tan for the next night of clubbing!

Casinos - play some of Spain’s favourite table games and enjoy the “Ocean’s Eleven-esque glamour”…you never know, practise beforehand (say playing poker online or learning the tricks in specialist magazines) and you may polish your skills enough to win the money to afford another holiday!

Fine Dining - The Canary Islands are famous for their great marisco food and so enjoy a typical meal of lobster and cod whilst dining at the lovely ports, al fresco in the warm surroundings of the Canaries.

Walking - Ok so it may not be glamorous but there is some beautiful natural scenery (including volcanic!) to enjoy in the Canaries - make sure you are to take it all in; it’s certainly as stunning as any glamorous man-made setting!

All in all, the Canaries has everything you could look for on a luxury holiday…Especially around the ports where millionaire cruise ships are frequently docked to host parties of the rich and famous. Pick your favourite island here and do the research (sites like this and your local agencia de viajes can help!); it will be a holiday you won’t forget!

Fuerteventura is ideal for families and couples who were looking for great place to unwind or relax since it is best describe as a paradise for sun, beach and water sports devotees. It is in this island as well where found the first tourists hotel that was built since 1965 which was eventually followed by the assembly of the airport which is located at El Mattoral. Since the island can provide of about 3, 000 sunshine hours yearly, Fuerteventura was appointed on the world as a major European holiday destination.

Due to the island’s summer Trade Winds and winter distend of the Atlantic, Fuerteventura is the sanctuary of surfers, scuba divers, big game fishermen, and sailors who wants to join the whales, dolphins, turtles and marlins swimming on this pristine clear Atlantic water that the island has. Tourists as well can tour around the island’s large plains, volcanic mountains, and lavascapes which can be reach riding with the 4×4 or with the cross-country motorbike.
It has been said that the first colonizers of the island arrived here from the North Africa and “Mahorero” or “Maho” is still widely used today to describe the people living in Fuerteventura. This name or word came from the ancient word “mahos” which means a type of goatskin shoe which was worn by the original residents. In fact, during the previous paced of the island, there are various different invaders dwelling in here that left some remains which today’s became the evidences for tourists who were curious about the island’s unique history. However, despite the past history of Fuerteventura it still recently captivates millions of tourists all over the world because of its unique fascinating views with the blend of contemporary design of buildings.

Canary Island is one of the most modern tourist destinations. For those people who were living in very cold countries will surely love the Canary Island since it has the best weather condition everybody were looking for. Canary is indeed abounding with tourists from all over the world annually because of its unusual and incredible weather condition and captivating views. Most of the tourists visiting Canary are families having their vacation together in the time of summer. Visiting Canary Island could be a better choice of many; because it is surrounded by many captivating views which you will surely appreciate. Beaches are the striking areas which can be seen in Canary Island. If you are a swimmer or diver, Canary beaches is the best place to head and practice your talent. Some tourists in Canary loved to go fishing. Fishing is the common activities that can make a visitor enjoy their vacation. Fish is also a common specialty food that few restaurants serve to their customers and natural fruits that found in Canary Island will be the typical desserts to serve.

The Island of Canary is found near in the northern coast of Africa at the side of the Island which is the Atlantic Ocean. It has white sands that you can see, huge as a mountain; the reason why they have a sand landscape it’s because of the volcanic actions before. You can see how the big wave dances from Atlantic Ocean and witness the different kinds of giant fishes that in fact they had protected it for the next generation to see. Wild life in Canary could be found in their nature that they protect since then. You can see birds with different types of colors big or small. Some wildlife has originated from the Island Canary but some of them migrating in the Island because of the warm temperature. Most of the birds are from the coldest country such as United Kingdom, Germany and any other cold places. If you think that only human living can be a visitor in Canary Island, the fact is also many birds visiting the Island when spring season. Animals from water and land are one of the main attractions in the Island that visitors probably love to see.

Getting in Canary Island is not a problem; there are many flights that could lead you to the place. All you have to do is book your ticket in your comfortable schedule. But a better idea is for you to be assured of your safety and comfortable travel is to ask help from a tourist guide. They can help you find a good cheap hotel and restaurant, and show you the nicest place in the Island. Some of the tourist guide will lead you to the historical places that are hidden in the Island. Since some of them have not been to the hidden beauty of Canary. And you will never regret choosing the Canary Island as your destination for vacation.

THE Canary Islands which are splashed off the coast of the Horn of Africa are hot tourist destinations for British, Irish and Scandinavian travelers coming from such places as Wales, Iceland, Germany, Holland, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and Norway at any time of the year. It is more so this spring for basically three reasons – there are lots of floras exclusive to the Canary Islands only and they bloom their flowers which emit various colors only this season. The second reason is that temperatures in the Canary Islands are starting to get warmer as the climate transitions itself from winter to summer. The third reason is of course, students from all over the world in such countries as the United States and Holland are in their spring break and so they can have ample time to be accompany their parents on vacation in the Canary Islands.

Aside from the archipelago’s capital which is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and its most famous destination Tenerife, the Canary Islands is also composed of Hierro, La Gomera, Lanzarote, Montafla Clara, Lobos, Alegreza and La Graciosa. There are actually more than 2,000 plant species spread between these ten inhabited islands alone. Each of them has distinctive colors of flowers when they bloom during spring so it must be a pretty awesome sight to look at whenever you are here.

The coastal parts of any island in the Canaries archipelago are the most awesome of all. Here, you can find both conventional and nudist beaches. And in these parts of the island, you can also find some of the exotic plants that are found only here. So if you’re renting a vacation home in the Canary Islands, it may be cool to stroll down the fishing village and if you know a little Spanish, a fisherman will hand you a large grouper for free so you can grill it back home in the vacation suite that you are renting. On the way, you can find some exotic plants growing such as the babosa, acelga del mar, perpetuas marinas, margaritas, sapera, albohol and corzoncillo. The flowers of the acelga del mar are yellow in color; the perpetuas marinas are lavender; the margaritas and albohol are white; and the sapera are pinkish in color.

An example of an arid region in the Canaries is Mt. Teide, a dormant volcano which is currently a national park in Tenerife. In Mt. Teide, there are visible signs asking tourists not to litter around so as to preserve the beauty of the volcano. Some of the exotic flora species found here include the cardon, comical, berode, romero marino, tabaiba amarga, balo, madarna, cerraja arborea, tabaiba dulce, cerillo blanco, graminaceae, cardoncillo, retama blanca, taginaste, hierba del risco, palma, drago, corona de la reina, ahulaga, mato risco, malva Silvestre, ajenjo, hierba de la rabia, pinillo and arebol. Actually, there are a lot more exotic plants that are native only here in the Canary Islands and you can get to see them in actuality only if you are willing to come to a vacation here. So go ahead, call your travel agent now.

THE Canaries is divided into two major tourist hubs – Tenerife and Las Palmas. Of the two, I know more about Tenerife because I have been there already so let me tell you about it first and how you can help in your own little way to save the Spanish economy. That may sound cliché but let me tell you this. We are always constantly facing a threat to recession until May when the United States community gets boosted with a stimulus tax discount package. So until then, we must constantly be on our guard to not let our own economy here in Spain sink in.

Of course, both the Spanish central bank and the central bank of the European Union are doing everything they can to mitigate the situation but you can certainly do something about it simply by bailing some of your cash. This year, why not spend your summer vacation in the Canaries? Here in mainland Spain, you have been constantly bombarded with freezing temperatures even during summer especially if you are located in such highland regions as Garabandal. The highest that you can get is only at 23 degrees Celsius. You even need to don another layer of clothing in your body even at this point in time. In the Canaries, that can certainly change.

The Canaries actually border the Horn of Africa. Its nearest country to the east is Morocco. It is actually located near the equator already so it definitely is warm in there. You don’t need to go to Phuket in Thailand which is pretty far away to bask and tan in the sun. Because the Canaries are still Spanish territory, it’s just not like living the country at all. Therefore, you can save on a lot of expenses like passport and stuff like that. Still, you can definitely contribute to the Spanish economy because in coming here in the Canaries, you are already bailing out your cash.

Here is a possible rundown of your expenses. If you are based in Salamanca, the first rational thing that you do is book your flight through such reputable online agencies as Travelocity or Expedia. They are both American-based so obviously part of your money goes to the United States economy. Don’t be too selfish and overpatriotic for saving the United States economy means positive economic vibe to your country as well.

Say for instance, you are from Salamanca. There are no direct flights to Tenerife’s Reina Sofia International Airport for sure so you need to book a flight to Madrid for travel. From Madrid, you have to take a flight to Reina Sofia International Airport. Then you have to settle down in a vacation home preferably the beach. Then you have to rent a car at the airport. Although all of the roads going to El Teide National Park are paved, nothing hurts an adventure using a dirt road so a sturdy SUV is recommended for renting.

IT’S time now to party as 2008 is welcomed all over the Canary archipelago. The Canary Islands are actually a group of islands splashed off the coast of the Horn of Africa. Two of the archipelago’s biggest islands are Tenerife and Las Palmas Gran Canaria. Although the latter is the capital of the archipelago, the former is more hip and brings forth lots of tourists from Britain and northern Europe. Tenerife can be accessed through Reina Sofia International Airport which services flights from the Spanish mainland and back as well as selected destinations in Europe. There are a number of regional airlines such as England-based Ryannair which land in Tenerife every day. Aside from the famed El Teide national park which is a dormant volcano, there are also lots of nudist beaches there. It is not a surprise though because the climate here is temperate all year round even in the middle of winter. But then again, aside from those beaches, other tourist spots in Tenerife include the following: Mirador La Corona, Mirador de Baracan, Punta de Teno, Benijo, La Laguna-Santuario del Santisimo Cristo, Mirador El Guincho, Masca, Playa Las Vistas, San Miguel de Tajao, Plaza Ayuntamiento, Mirador de Chipeque and Garachico as well as its swimming pool El Caleton.

This early, a string of activities is already lined up in Tenerife. Late this month will be the annual Tenerife Carnival. In this carnival, the carnival queen will be paraded and there will be an all-men marathon. The most spectacular piece of architecture in Tenerife though is the Tenerife Opera House. It looks similar to the Sydney Opera House. Zarzuelas are held here periodically but are more common during the weekends and these zarzuelas are usually flocked by foreign tourists who are curious how a zarzuela looks like.

Other foreigners who troop here usually love diving. In Tenerife, there are lots of diving spots. A typical dive resort has its own qualified diving instructors who will assist diving amateurs who are curious enough to try the pastime. A typical diving excursion costs £485. Aside from the usual diving, there are also special diving classes available where you will learn how to have open water dives, fine-tune buoyancy underwater as well as weight positioning for visualization.

Another pastime in Tenerife is going to the gym for the men and going to the spas for the women. Being gender sensitive is practiced in the island of course but the residents there remain to be choosy in whatever pastimes they like. For example, the men go to the gym so that they can have abs as well as biceps and broad chests. They usually practice boxing, krav maga, pentjak silat, fencing, parkour and other martial and escapist arts. Meanwhile, the women go to the spas to tend their skin and make them even more glowingly beautiful. The spa industry here is one of the more prolific industries the island has. After all, this is tourism-induced Tenerife.

THE Canary Archipelago is composed of several islands but the most popular of them all are Tenerife and Las Palmas. In turn, there are two kinds of attractions in Tenerife – El Teide National Park which is actually a dormant volcano and the beaches along the coastline. There are two kinds of beaches there as well – the typical beach resorts and the nudist beach resorts. Both of these are regulated by the Spanish government since all of them receive the blue flag accreditation by the European Union. It simply means that these beaches excel in terms of quality service. On the other hand, one cannot go to the nudist beach resorts if one is not naked as well. These beach resorts are understandably unoccupied during winter because it’s too cold in there. So during winter, people in Tenerife just stay in their homes and wait for Christmas celebrations.

Meanwhile, El Teide National Park is reachable only through cable car. By the Canaries are located off the coast of Africa. But planes coming in from Europe, Middle East and South Africa do not necessarily go to Africa. They fly straight here and all visitors carry with them Spanish visas because the Canary island paradises belong to Spain. There are three international airports in the Canary Islands. Two of them are in Tenerife, the Reina Sofia International Airport, named after the reigning queen of Spain and the North Tenerife Airport. The other is located in Las Palmas. Being a tourist destination, the Canaries still attract foreign visitors even though it’s the middle of winter. Aside from the regional airlines, there are also flights from smaller airlines such as Ryanair. Aside from the planes that fly here every day, there are also various cruise ships calling port here all year round. If you want to know the schedules of their port calls all across the archipelago, then just call your favorite travel agency.

But even though the Canaries is located in Europe, it is not as humid there as you think. The Canaries has a temperate climate all-year round but in winter, skinny dipping is still not a choice because it is still cold at -3 degrees Celsius. There are no snowstorms or ice storms as well as tropical cyclones here and there is no impending danger of a tsunami because the Canary Islands to not sit in a ring of fire and there are no volcanoes in the vicinity except for Mt. Teide of course but this is a dormant volcano.

The trend in Tenerife and Las Palmas Gran Canaria nowadays is the surge of spas. Spas offer various treatments as body wrap, body scrub, shiatsu massage, Swedish massage, exotic massage, facial scrub, jacuzzi, seaweed body scrub and hydrotherapy, among others. The therapists in these spas are graduates of a course uniquely available for them – they are trained on how to handle Western tourists, they know both English and Dutch since those are the ones used by most tourists here and they are trained in physical therapy.

One of the most promising places to visit would be like something that can make your heart beat faster twice as you can imagine, “that excites me” I mean! To travel around the world makes people satisfy their desires to see the world. A compelling desires that you have seen and experience things from all around the world.

But these would be all? Not all traveling experience gains a better and satisfying experience. Sometimes this traumatized you from planning another vacation plot for the second time around. Why? Well, sometimes there were things that are unpredictably pop- up during vacation. Some things that are awkward and are ironic from what you have been expecting. Sometimes things turn out to be very disappointing because of the services offered by the people in the said place have been very untidy and weather are unpleasant.

What will you do? Well, Canary Island is a place to be. I should say. Canary Island is also other wise known as “happy Island, Garden of Hesperides, Atlantida. A told story of a much known “Atlantic city” the city that once sank millions of years ago is said be located in Canary Island. Canary Island is part of those legendary Greek histories were being told around the world.

Legendary icons and myth were made in this particular place. A story that even in this present time clicks the fantasy of every child and young at hearts

Isn’t that beautiful and encouraging to set a vacation to a place where knowledge and education be free? Aside from the fact that canary Island consists of beautiful beaches and resorts, it also has a weather that suits your vacation successful and enjoyable.

It has a weather of “eternal springtime” as what they called it. The temperatures vary from six degrees Celsius. Its monthly average temperatures are from 18 degrees Celsius to twenty four degrees Celsius. Meaning this would be an ideal temperature when planning to go on bathing and laid under the sun with out feared risking from ultra violates sun rays.

The felling of being nurtured by the nature is well satisfactory. Which means this would make you fell nearer to the nature and possibly appreciates by its beauty.

At Canary there were provinces awaits you, options rather to make you fell comfortable in anywhere you want to go as you explore the madness of summer like the Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

After compelling your eyes from beauty of nature, the beaches, the beautiful carve of seashores, the weather that allows you to be free and enjoy from doing things in your own ways. Now would be the satisfying your taste of food.

In Canary Island, this place offers the best combine traditional Spanish recipes influenced by African and Latin- American recipes.

Such as the Papas Arrugadas, Mojo Cochino, POtaje de Berros and the most typical regional recipes like the Caldereta and Sancocho Canario and more.

Canary Island is located south- west of Spain and north- west of Africa. Canary is said to be the important station for navigation between Europe, Asia and America

WINTER is a very swell time for honeymooners from Britain and other Western and Northern European nations when it comes to have a vacation this holiday season in the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands may be famous for its summer evenings, nights and parties till dawn but during winter, it is equally enchanting.

Many young people, especially those who are about to get married, would want a seaside resort. Seaside resorts in the Canary Islands are still well-kept whether summer or winter. They have a blue flag accreditation from the European Union which makes these resorts the most hygienic ones in all of Europe. The Canary Islands is a premier archipelago after all what with the infamous Tenerife and Las Palmas.

The Canary Islands is already located off the coast of Africa so it is not as cold here as it is in mainland Spain. So that will be another reason why people love being in here during winter. There are still those daily flights from Britain, Scotland, Ireland and other great European cities which fly directly to those islands.

What’s enticing about it is that you don’t need to reserve early when you come here during winter. Beach resorts are virtually nil and it’s not just the beach resorts that are a come-on for tourists here. There’s a dormant volcano called Mt. Teide and when you go there during winter, then snow abounds. It’s nice to camp out during an evening in Mt. Teide. You may bring the whole family or the whole gang with you if you’re not a honeymooning couple. Hey, take your kids on their very first overseas vacation. I’m pretty sure they’ll be swooning over it for a lifetime.

Mt. Teide is really spectacular when viewed during a snowy winter night especially when the moon is full. It is eerie as if you’re in an adventure movie in an African or European mountain where serenity abounds and only you and your friends are found. It’s really dazzling I tell you. I have spoken from a memorable experience. There are lots of animal sounds that you cannot tell what they are if you’re not from the place. It’s even nicer if you bring a guide with you as the local (those English speaking ones) can tell you what these animals are. Now that’s some enchanting Christmas or New Year to begin a brighter future for you and your family.

And when dawn breaks, mist enters into the picture. You will find moisture in the leaves. You can even find some croaking frogs or grasshoppers welcoming you in the morning. It’s like basking back from your old childhood. This is really a paradise here on earth as Mt. Teide is entirely different from the England that you have come to experience last summer – England that is flooded with rains all August long. Even the farms in the boondocks are flooded and there is no paradise in sight that you can see. Here comes the advantage of Mt. Teide and the rest of the Canaries for that matter.
