 Fuerteventura; one of the interesting places in Canary Island

Fuerteventura is believed to be the oldest of the Canary Island, which nestled 100 kilometers off the coast of North Africa; appointed as the second largest amongst the islands after Tenerife as well owned the longest beaches within the archipelago. It has been said that the first colonizers of the island arrived here from the North Africa and “Mahorero” or “Maho” is still widely used today to describe the people living in Fuerteventura. This name or word came from the ancient word “mahos” which means a type of goatskin shoe which was worn by the original residents. In fact, during the previous paced of the island, there are various different invaders dwelling in here that left some remains which today’s became the evidences for tourists who were curious about the island’s unique history. However, despite the past history of Fuerteventura it still recently captivates millions of tourists all over the world because of its unique fascinating views with the blend of contemporary design of buildings.
