New Campaign to Boost up Canary Islands

New Campaign to Boost up Canary IslandsThe Canary Islands have recently opened a £1.26 million worth for a promotional campaign in Europe. The marvelous islands just off the African coast have always been a popular point for British tourists and other foreign holidaymakers for a long time now. The British Embassy estimates that almost four million British stay at the islands per year, on top of the sixty thousand that are already living there. A great part of the income for the Canary comes from its tourism industry. However, with the credit crunch that hit the UK lately, owners of restaurants and hotels are concerned that the impact may cause the tourist market to collapse, as apparently British nationals would likely prefer staying in their own state at such point in time in order to save on money.

Only last year, devastation had hit the peak season hard, with the destruction of some portions of Grand Canaria and Tenerife. Along with the credit crunch, the government of the Canary Islands has decided to instigate a new drive in a proposal to lure more tourists to the area and stress the number of attractions that offer great deals, which can only be obtained on the archipelago.

The new campaign is called ‘The Three Stadiums of Happiness,’ held at the Emirates Stadium in London. The main objective of the campaign is to feature the Canary Islands being more than just another hotspot for beach holiday destinations, and as well as stressing on views that incorporate the special bond shared with family, nature and wellness. The Canary Islands have always been a valued destination among British tourists and holidaymakers from other parts of the world. The unique blend of its stunning beaches and winter sun are too extraordinary to be found elsewhere. But the new expose’ grants a chance for the islands as a group, to draw attention to its another side for tourists and holidaymakers, as well as presenting an array of other entertainment and activity options.
